Alan is responsible for quality and ensures clients receive the highest standard of delivery possible in order to meet and exceed expectations. This involves working closely with the Specialist team to offer advice and guidance where appropriate. Alan holds an MBA from Edinburgh University and his work experience includes roles with BT and Lothian and Borders Police and Fire Brigade.
In his free time, Alan follows Motherwell FC, attending both home and away games.

Alison has a passion for developing people and organisations and has over 25 years’ experience working across private, public and third sector organisations. She has an MSc in People and Organisational Development and is a graduate of the University of Reading’s Henley Business School where she trained as a coach in 2004. Alison is a Trustee and Non-Executive Director of Fife Law Centre and has been a member of the Employment Tribunal panel since 2002. At Remarkable, Alison provides strategic insight and experience on both learning and development and service development.
Alistair's role is relationship management focussed. To ensure we deliver value to our clients, he is here to answer your questions and support our specialist team.
Prior to joining Remarkable Alistair completed an MBA at Heriot Watt, with a focus in Performance Management and HR Management.
Alistair is big music fan and when not at work enjoys spending time with his wife Jane and their son Ewen.
An Economics and Accountancy graduate and a Chartered Accountant, Andy has over 30 years’ experience, having worked with a wide range of clients both within the UK and abroad, initially with Arthur Andersen and then with EY where he was an Associate Partner. Andy supports Remarkable’s success and sustainability through providing strategic insight and financial stewardship.
As Chief Executive at Remarkable, Bonnie has overall responsibility for Remarkable working closely with both the Senior Leadership Team and with the Chair and Board.
Her areas of responsibility include leading the development of Remarkable’s vision to create 1 million leaders by 2023 – both in the long term and on an annual basis alongside building relationships on behalf of Remarkable across our stakeholder landscape, including the Scottish Government and corporate partners such as Investors in People UK and Turn the Ship Around! She also leads the Senior Leadership Team – Cate, Andy and Alison – in the areas of work across the organisation: Finance, Client Relationships, People and Marketing.
Her previous experience includes Director for Scotland at Badenoch & Clark and regional Director with Hays. She is curious about people and about business.
Bonnie is a Non-Executive Director with Women’s Enterprise Scotland. She was the Chair of Women onto Work and the Chair of The National Theatre Scotland Advisory Development Board.
In 2014 she was awarded the Institute of Directors (IoD) Female Director of the year and in 2015 the IoD Director of the year for Family Friendly Flexible working.
Outside of work, Bonnie’s interests include her horse and all things equestrian.
Cate began her career with The Boots Company PLC on their Graduate Programme, after leaving The University of Edinburgh with an MA in English Literature & English Language. She has worked both as a client in entrepreneurial start ups, family companies and everything in between, and in agencies directing client accounts. Before joining Remarkable she ran her own marketing consultancy for 4 years. Cate is often invited to speak at events and has been commissioned to write features for national and local media. She also has a portfolio of Non-Executive Directorships, including Board Member for Creative Scotland, member of the Strategic Communications Advisory Committee for Changing the Chemistry and Business Mentor for Edinburgh Research & Innovation. Previously she was a Director of the Scotland Malawi Partnership for 6 years.
Emily is the Sales Director at Remarkable. Within her role Emily is responsible for developing and executing the sales strategy, new product development, leading our team of Client Account Managers and Business Development Executive and developing highly effective client relationships. Emily is also an experienced Specialist delivering a range of consultancy support to our clients across our portfolio of services. Emily is also a qualified and practising Executive Coach and Mentor having achieved her Postgraduate Certificate ILM Level 7 in 2018 and has been a Trustee at the Charity Hearts and Minds for the last 2.5 years.
Prior to joining Remarkable, Emily spent 4.5 years as the Director of a fast-growth HR Consulting Firm, 3.5 years working as a Strategic Account Manager for a Global Career and Talent Management Consultancy and 10 years working in Senior Level HR and Learning and Development Recruitment across a range of roles.

Emily supports the Remarkable team in all people related matters including recruitment, training and development.
She joined Remarkable in 2011 with a degree is in Economics and Finance from the University of St Andrews and with previous experience working in recruitment.
Married with two sons, Emily also enjoys cooking, entertaining and socialising with friends.
Jen is a key member of the Operations team, excellent in database and operational management, supporting the Remarkable Specialists in project delivery from planning meeting to plaque presentation.
In her spare time, Jen knits and cross-stitches like a fiend, watches far too many crime documentaries and buys far more books and graphic novels than she'll ever have time to read. She’s a member of an LGBTQ choir, a regular pub quiz attendee and enjoys socialising with friends and family.
Kris is here to facilitate & support the Remarkable Specialists in project delivery, ensuring all projects run smoothly and successfully.
Kris holds a bachelor's honours degree in Fine Art from the Nottingham Trent University, writes a food blog, and forages in the undergrowth for interesting culinary and horticultural pursuits.
Outwith the working week, he likes cooking, motorbikes, astronomy, tattoos, art & design, reading, gardening, music, grape & grain, DIY, his cat, his daughters Poppy and Millie and his wife Anne.
Robyn’s role involves handling the administrative responsibilities in the business. She is currently completing a modern apprenticeship here at Remarkable. Robyn has a strong passion for business studies and is excelling in the early stages of her career.She is responsible for providing administrative and operational support across the organisation, and in particular to the Chief Executive and Senior Leadership Team via diary management and preparing for meetings.

With over ten years’ experience in contributing to strategic solutions whilst managing client and stakeholder relationships as well as leading on the continual embedding of a high performance culture. I possess excellent communication, interpersonal and organisation skills developed through varied roles across public and private sectors. I am a natural net-worker and contributor with drive and enthusiasm, who has the ability to be creative and flexible in my approach to meet the demands of an every changing environment.
I support our Specialists in delivering client projects.
I joined the Remarkable team in November 2016 after spending nearly 10 years in my previous job in retail administration. I moved to Edinburgh on starting with Remarkable and have totally embraced city life.
When not at work, I enjoy socialising with friends, hanging out with my nieces and nephews, live music gigs and kicking back and relaxing.
Simon is an experienced Consultant with broad experience of working with both public and private sector organisations (including Higher Education, Technology, Manufacturing and IT businesses). He has over 15 years experience in senior management in both the IT and manufacturing sectors, including roles as Operations Director, Service Director, Transformation Director and Managing Director. He has specific expertise in managing acquisitions (particularly SMEs), integrating businesses, and in delivering customer service excellence. Simon enjoys a dual role at Remarkable - he is Interim Operations Director, leading our Operations function and is also a member of our Specialist team.
